On January 10th, 2011, the Board of Regents approved the recommended additions to the Common Core Learning Standards for English Language Arts & Literacy and Common Core Learning Standards for Mathematics, plus a new set of Prekindergarten Standards. ISTE’s “Essential Conditions: Necessary conditions to effectively leverage technology for learning.” This single-page publication lists what ISTE feels are the essential conditions a learning environment needs in order to make the most out of a commitment to digital age learning. “Knowing Your School’s Technology Culture.” This forms of the basis of what you will turn in next module. Download it now and read through it. You can find it by going to the Digital Citizenship Resources wiki (https://sites.google.com/site/digitalcitizenshipresources), selecting “Docs” in the left hand menu, and selecting the file.
