My Bio

Stefanie Frank is a Speech Pathologist who is currently working at the New York City Department of Education.  Stefanie grew up in Suffolk County, Long Island with two parents that were school administrators.

In college Stefanie studied many things and eventually got an AAS degree in American Sign Language from Suffolk Community College.  She then went to SUNY New Paltz where she got a BS in Speech Therapy.  After working for a year she went back to school and got her MA in Speech Pathology from NOVA Southeastern University.

After graduating from college Stefanie went on to work as a leave replacement Speech Therapist in various school districts in Long Island, until she got a job with the Cooke School for Learning and Development.  There she worked in the HS with a broad range of students with disabilities.  Then wanting to leave the private sector and join her parents in the public school she got a job at MS 322, a middle school in Washington Heights.

In October 2009 Stefanie got married and moved to Queens and decided that the commute was too much.  After a long search and new hiring policies, Stefanie was hired at P141.  There she works with middle school students as part of district 75.

In September 2011 Stefanie welcomed two new additions to her family, Josephine Marie and Dylan Riley.  She spends all of her free time playing and enjoying her twins.
